Slot Features

For 5 of a kind wins, the premium symbols, which consist of gems and a golden feather symbol, pay between 2 and 5 times your wager. Presumably, the feathers belong to the Phoenix, which functions as the game's Wild symbol. The wild will appear stacked on all five reels to help complete winnings by substituting for pay symbols, and it pays 10 times your bet for five on a payline.

You can land three fireball symbols of different colours, which are accumulated in the corresponding egg above the grid. Each time this occurs, you have a chance to activate the Area Link ability, and the combination of fireballs that activate the ability will determine the Phoenix Upgrade modifiers you receive.

When the Area Link feature activates, you receive three respins and the inciting fireballs become sticky on an otherwise cleared grid. Each time a new fireball symbol appears, it too becomes sticky, and the number of respins is reset to three. The fireball symbols award cash prizes, and it is possible to capture three distinct jackpot symbols.

These are the Mini, Minor, and Major jackpot symbols, which award 10, 20, and 500 times your wager, respectively. Filling all positions concludes the feature, and this results in the 5,000x Grand Jackpot being awarded.

Otherwise, the feature concludes when you run out of respins, at which point your total compensation is calculated. As stated, the feature will activate with at least one of the following three Phoenix Upgrades:

• Orange Phoenix Upgrade — grants a random multiplier of x2, x3, or x5 per turn (yellow fireball symbols are only upgraded the first time they appear).
• Magenta Phoenix Upgrade — grants an identical and independent grid area in addition to the original grid.
• Red Phoenix Upgrade — grants a red fireball that gathers all values, followed by a yellow fireball that becomes stuck in place.
