Sweet Alchemy Slot Review

Sweet Alchemy Slot Review

Get your best wizarding hit on because it’s time to end a world full of alchemy and magic in the Sweet Alchemy slot game from Play’n Go. This title challenges players to land winning clusters on a grid and use pieces of candy to conjure up bonus features and potentially big wins. Play’n Go has a fine record of delivering cluster slot games with great visuals and bonus features. Let’s see what it has conjured up now in this Sweet Alchemy online slot review.

Sweet Alchemy Slot Details

When you load up the Sweet Alchemy slot game, it would almost appear as if someone has thrown a big bucket of colour all over the screen. The game springs to life with some really brilliant visuals. The reels game’s five reels start out life full of candy-colored symbols, with the witch character sitting on the right-hand side of the screen. It is a treat for the eyes and it looks great on both mobile and desktop devices.

How To Play Sweet Alchemy

Sweet Alchemy starts out with a bonus video explaining how the various gameplay features work, but we will cover more of that when we look at the Sweet Alchemy bonus features. The base game is actually not too complicated.

The slot starts out with a 5x5 grid, though this can increase all the way out to 9x9 in one of the bonus rounds. There are no traditional paylines in the slot, with it using a cluster-pay mechanic. This means the game pays out when players land clusters of four or more.

Before players get started though, they will want to make sure that they have their stake chosen. The minimum bet here is £0.10, while the maximum is £100. The Sweet Alchemy RTP is 96.50%.

Sweet Alchemy Slot Game Features

There are plenty of great bonus features that have been mixed in by Play’n Go in the Sweet Alchemy slot game.

Sugar Rush Meter

The Sugar Rush Meter is one of the biggest focuses in the game. When players land a winning combination, the symbols are collected in the Sugar Rush Meter. The meter is reset after every round. At intervals, different WIld symbols will be added to the reels.

  • Six Symbols two regular Wilds are added to the grid.
  • Thirteen Symbols Striped Wilds are added. These remove all symbols on the same reel when part of a winning combo.
  • 25 Symbols  Dotted Wilds are added to the grid. When these are part of a winning combo, they remove all of one specific symbol.
  • 38 Symbols The Mix the Elixir round is launched.

Mix the Elixir

The Mix the Elixir round is a Bonus Spins round where players can progress through different levels to win bigger prizes. The game takes place on an enhanced 9x9 grid, with different bonus features being dropped in along the way. The Alchemist can add different symbols or bonuses to help players secure more wins. The aim is to collect specific symbols in order to advance up levels and win more prizes. The feature has a bonus game within itself where players must try to match prizes on a chocolate grid.

Sweet Alchemy Verdict

Sweet Alchemy from Play’n GO is a colourful outing with plenty of bonus features to offer. It’s fair to put the emphasis here on the word plenty, with the slot at times feeling a little complicated and confusing. Don’t worry, there is an instructions video at the beginning of the game, and once you have got your head around the slot’s slightly more complex mechanics, there is actually plenty to enjoy when you play the Sweet Alchemy slot game.
