All of the major figures from the renowned book's principal cast, including Jim Hawkins, Captain Flint, and, of course, Long John Silver, are depicted in cartoon form in the Treasure Island reels. The reels are situated in a setting of a tropical bay, and the playing card icons are each set against a treasure map. They all appear quite good. A jovial soundtrack featuring cannon fire, fanfares, and water splashes supports the on-screen action.

When two or more Barrel Wild symbols appear anywhere on the reels, the Pirate Attack feature, which is the first feature to look out for, is activated. Two or three cannonballs will be fired onto the reels when a pirate ship sails into view. They will cause a wild to emerge wherever they settle. 

When three Bonus Scatter symbols emerge, the other features are activated. After activating, you must choose 1 to reveal a cash prize, bonus spins, or the Treasure Hunt Bonus.

You must first finish the Island Hop Bonus if you want the free spins. It's a pick-me feature that awards additional free spins, additional wilds (Jim Hawkins, Long John Silver, and Captain Flint turn wild), additional stacks of Super Wilds, or Locked Barrel Wilds that stay in place for the duration of the free spins.
