Slot Features

The Gargantoonz slot machine is played on a slot layout of 7 reels with 7 rows each. The game uses a Cluster Pays system instead of traditional paylines. You can win the game by landing clusters of five or more matching symbols on the grid. Winning symbols are removed from the grid to trigger the Cascades of new symbols to drop and fill the gaps. This gives you a chance to land more winning clusters. The cascades continue until no more new winning clusters land on the reels.

The symbols of the game are represented by low-value one-eyed aliens and higher-value two-eyed aliens. Along with these, the game also has a Wild symbol which can land on the reels. Wilds can substitute for all regular symbols to help complete winning clusters.

On each round of the game, a one-eyed alien is chosen to Fluctuate. When the chosen symbol type forms a winning cluster, one to two Quantum Wilds may appear on the space when these are removed. On the other hand, on a no-winning spin, four to 8 Quantum Wilds may randomly be added to the grid. 

When no experiments are active, winning clusters charge the Experiment Charger. You need 20 symbols to fully charge it. Once full, an experiment is randomly chosen to trigger after any cascades play out. This feature gives you a chance to land unique wild symbols which change all present wild symbols to the type of unique wild that has appeared. The possible Experiments which may occur are listed below with their basic effects.

• Gamma Ray Burst - 7 to 9 Wild symbols are added to the grid; winning wild symbols count the number of winning symbols and may remove the same type of symbols from the grid. Afterwards, wilds leave the grid and charge the charger.
• Black Hole - 4 to 6 Wilds are added to the grid; wild symbols may adjacent symbols and charge the charger. Three or more Wild symbols in the same cluster may trigger their effect immediately. 
• Supernova - 3 to 5 Wilds are added to the grid; winning wilds may count the symbols into their clusters and stay on the grid. Wilds may move 8 steps in any direction and collect symbols. When three or more wilds are in the same cluster, the effect may be triggered immediately. These also charge the charger when they leave the grid.

Successful Experiments charge the Gargantoon Charger which may evolve the Gargantoon. This feature increases a multiplier with each overcharge. Overcharges need more symbols than a regular charge. The feature also introduces Gargantoon Wilds which are big Wild symbols that may merge to form even bigger Wild symbols.
